A smaller creature for light bottom work, with several ways to rig it around the swim you are fishing.
How to fish it: Short bottom hops and pauses, or slow dragging with little shakes. On dropshot or kickback, the weight controls bottom position while the lure is worked separately.
Rigging: Jig head: 1–3.5 g with a #2 hook. Ned, dropshot and kickback are other options. Use an EWG #4 for Cheb, Texas, Carolina, Jika or free rig, choosing the separate weight for the conditions.
Size: 4.7 cm to the pincer tips; approximately 6.7 cm including the longer appendages.
Pack: 6 lures. Hooks and rigging sold separately.
Build the setup:
- Jig Heads with Bait Keeper. Choose 3 g / #2.
- Standard EWG Hooks, #4, for the unweighted hook option; add a separate weight where the rig requires one.
- Dropshot / Wacky Hooks for the dropshot option; match the hook to the lure and check the fit.
Hook sizes and weights are starting points. Check the hook fit and choose the weight for the depth, current and presentation.
