The Micro Pulse is a 5cm finesse paddle tail swimbait built around one principle: maximum action from minimum size. Its ribbed body displaces water in tight, rhythmic pulses that predators key in on, even at the slowest retrieves. The paddle tail kicks at speeds that larger swimbaits simply can’t match at this scale.
At 5cm, the Micro Pulse sits in the ultra-finesse slot ā small enough to tempt the most pressured perch, but with enough presence and vibration to draw strikes from fish feeding on fry, invertebrates, or anything bite-sized and moving.
How to fish it:
Rig it on a 1ā3g jighead for a straight retrieve or slow hop along the bottom. It’s equally effective on a drop shot rig, where the ribbed body and paddle tail create constant micro-movement even when the line is still. For canal and urban perch, a steady slow roll just off the bottom is devastating. In clear water or cold conditions, slow everything down and let the tail do the work.
The Micro Pulse is also a natural fit as a trailer on small spinners, micro chatterbaits, or underspin jigs ā the compact profile adds action without adding bulk.
Field tested, trip proven:
This lure was put to the test on a Portuguese reservoir trip, rigged on a 2g jighead with ultra-light tackle. It drew a strike from an unexpected carp that took off like a freight train ā proof that when the action is right, even species you’re not targeting can’t leave it alone.
