The WhipTail 7.8cm: Built for Proper Perch
The WhipTail 7.8cm is a high-vibration soft plastic engineered for the UK’s most sought-after predator. At 78mm, it perfectly mimics the profile of a juvenile roach or silverfish ā the “protein hit” that larger, pressured perch are actively hunting.
Engineered Vibration
Where the WhipTail truly performs is the oversized curly tail. We’ve integrated three “wads” (weighted sections) into the tail. These increase water resistance, producing a strong, rhythmic thump that can be felt through the rod tip ā even on a slow, 2g retrieve.
Pro-Tactics & Presentation:
Slow-Rolling: Perfect for canal margins and lock cuts where a stable, vibrating track at consistent depth is key.
The Lift-and-Drop: Stable enough for gravel pits and structure-heavy rivers ā the tail collapses on the fall and kicks back to life on the rise, triggering following fish to commit.
Finesse Dropshotting: The tail remains active with minimal rod input ā ideal for cautious fish in clear water or when you need to hold the strike zone over a feature.
