A soft jerkbait for twitch-and-pause fishing near the bottom or through midwater.
How to fish it: Two or three short twitches, then pause. Vary the pauses and speed; use smaller movements when the fish respond better to a restrained presentation. The Cheb option also allows bottom bouncing.
Rigging: Weighted weedless: 3–5 g with a 2/0–3/0 offset hook. For Cheb, use a separate 3–10 g weight with the same offset hook. Conventional jig head: 5–10 g with a #1–2/0 hook. Weightless: the same 2/0–3/0 offset hook without added weight. Check hook fit, particularly at the smaller end of each range.
Pack: 5 lures. Hooks and rigging sold separately.
Build the setup:
- Standard EWG Hooks, 2/0–3/0, for the unweighted hook option; add a separate weight where the rig requires one.
- Jig Heads with Bait Keeper: 5 g / #1 for the conventional jig-head option; check the hook fit.
